Hired in March 2026, Rhodes comes to Concord after serving as an assistant coach and director of operations at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL for the last three seasons. At South Florida, Rhodes helped guide the Bulls to an AAC East Division Regular Season Championship and two AAC regular season second place finishes.
Prior to his stint at South Florida, Rhodes was the assistant men’s soccer coach at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, PA.
Throughout his five-year career as a collegiate assistant coach, Rhodes is responsible for helping twenty-five student-athletes achieve all-conference honors.
The Williamson, WV native, Rhodes, also brings a wealth of coaching experience outside of NCAA-sponsored athletics after coaching with many soccer clubs and teams including Tampa Bay United, FL Premier, Carrollwood Day School, USF Men's Club Soccer, Pittsburgh FC, and Mountaineer United.
Rhodes has also coached as an Olympic Development Program coach with Florida and West Virginia. Rhodes holds numerous coaching certifications including a US Soccer B License, US Soccer GK C License, United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma, and a Scottish FA Youth & Adult Coaching Award among others. Rhodes has a M.A. in Physical Education from the University of South Florida, M.S. in Sport Coaching from West Virginia University, and a B.S. in Natural Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh.
Rhodes is married to Ariel Rhodes, they have two cats.
